Born in Edinburgh in 1987, Calum graduated in Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art in 2010. In 2011 he was awarded The Jolomo Bank of Scotland Award – for Landscape Painting.
Since graduating Calum has had several successful solo exhibitions of his work at the Scottish Gallery and elsewhere, including
