Convened by Sarah Charneca, our paintings restorer and freelance tutor will be offering for the very first time a two hour practical workshops at 108 Fine Art Gallery, taking inspiration from the Spring exhibition – Brushstrokes & Bees – discovering how art reflects the circumstances and spaces in which it is made.
It will be a practical experience for all abilities, from beginners to more experienced art enthusiasts. Our personal classes in our bright and spacious gallery give an excellent student to tutor ratio, bringing artworks together, from materials, methods used and shared interests. Sarah will offer a great deal of guidance through her practical knowledge. Refreshments will be available and all materials provided, including round canvases, paints, pens and tools.
You will learn:
• how to use a variation of materials
• different mark making techniques
• about composition, mediums and outcomes
